On Sunday, November 22nd Jared Forrester and Forrest Cook were caught in a house fire in LaCenter, KY when a pot of grease erupted in flames on the stove. They both suffered severe 3rd degree burns fighting to extinguish the blaze and get out of the house. Jared and Forrest are both talented musicians and unfortunately their most traumatic injuries are to their hands and faces.
They were both transported to the Burn Unit at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Over the past week they have both undergone several surgeries to repair the damage to their hands and complete multiple skin grafts. Jared currently remains on a ventilator as his lungs are unable to provide his body with the oxygen it needs. They both have a long road of healing and physical therapy ahead of them.
There's no telling when they might return home and be able to get back to work, no telling how long their families will be living in hotel rooms to stay close to them. Between all the medical expenses and just the cost of everyday life, these guys are gonna need our help. Absolutely anything you can contribute will help. Every cent will go to cover their medical bills and cost of living during recovery. Please keep Jared and Forrest in your prayers and thank you for your support.
