Help Bali with medical supplies

Just before COVID hit, I met a lovely stall holder on my trip to Bali. I bought some things from her stall and chatted with her. We struck up a friendship and stayed in contact. In the last year and a half we have compared notes about how COVID is affecting our countries and our lives. I helped by sending money when she had no income and young children to feed.

In Australia, there is Government support to help those affected. We have medical help available. It’s very hard for many without doubt. It’s devastating for businesses and individuals. However, Australian citizens and residents are not left helpless like the Balinese people, with no support at all.

My friend’s mother died from COVID two weeks ago. The hospital was too full to take her and oxygen was impossible to find. Now her father and brother both have it. None of them has any income. They have to pay for all medical supplies themselves while trying to survive. They are dependant on the goodwill of those able and willing to help, who have been few and far between.

I’m posting this gofundme in the hopes that you will spare a little to help my friend, her family and her community to buy food and medical supplies. They are desperately in need of help. Rest assured, I will

personally ensure that all funds raised go exactly where they’re needed. A little from everyone would make such a huge difference during this crisis.
