My name is Brandi , and I’m asking for help for a member of my family, my beloved dog, Bali Red.

Recently, our world was turned upside down when Bali became seriously ill and was diagnosed with cancer. We had an emergency that resulted in a $3,100 veterinary bill, and at one point, we were told that we might not even be able to bring him home.

Thankfully, Bali fought through that emergency and is home with us now. We are currently providing palliative care and doing everything we can to keep him comfortable, loved, and surrounded by family.

But we are not ready to give up.

The next step may involve surgery and chemotherapy, and we have been told that the cost could be as much as $6,000. I am doing everything I can to give Bali a chance, but the emergency care has completely exhausted the savings I had set aside for unexpected situations.

I am also a nursing student and a single mother working hard to build a more stable future for my family .I am grateful to have income coming in but I am facing these veterinary expenses suddenly.

I never imagined I would have to ask for help like this.

My goal is to raise $2,000 to help cover the next stage of Bali’s medical care while we work with the veterinary team to determine the best treatment options. The overall treatment may ultimately cost more, but reaching this first goal would give us some breathing room and help us pursue the care Bali Reds needs.
