Help Bali Dog Lacey Heal from Cancer

Hi, I'm raising funds for my mother's dog rescue in Bali. She's just taken in a street dog with a cancerous tumor who needs our help.

This is Lacey - a gentle soul who’s already endured more than any dog should. My mom found her by chance when someone requested she rescue a litter of puppies from a building site. Lacey is the grandmother of those puppies.

Though she has a large tumor, even the kind people feeding her thought no one would rescue her as there are hundreds of thousands of abandoned dogs wandering the streets of Bali. She couldn't leave her behind and ended up taking in Lacey, her daughter Grace and Grace's five puppies in a big Mother's Day rescue!

Dear Lacey has been suffering in silence from a painful and aggressive cancer called TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumour). TVT is a highly contagious and cruel disease, spreading quickly between dogs through mating and even saliva. It causes raw, swollen tumours that make everyday life agonising.

Now that Lacey is safe, she needs your help to truly begin her recovery.

We're trying to raise $320 to give Lacey the care she desperately needs:

• $180 for a full course of chemotherapy to fight the cancer

• $20 to have her spayed, so she never has to go through this again

• $50 for vaccinations

• $20 for parasite treatment

• $50 for supplements to help her regain her strength

Every dollar will go directly to her treatment and care. The best news is that, though we believe in trap-sterilize-release, Lacey touched our hearts and we promised her she would never be on the street again. She will remain in our safe house, available for adoption if someone comes along, if not, she will be here: healthy, pain-free, and surrounded by the love she’s always deserved.
