Hi everyone,

I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but I was recently diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer. Over the coming months, I’ll be undergoing chemotherapy, surgery, and additional treatment as I focus on my recovery.

Before starting treatment, I made the decision to preserve my fertility and freeze my eggs. This was an important step for my future, but it also came with significant out-of-pocket expenses during an already overwhelming time.

Because my day job at a busy cafe was physically demanding, I made the decision to step away from work so I can focus on my health and give my body the best chance to get through treatment safely. This means I will be without my regular income for much of the next year.

Funds raised will help cover:

* Medical bills and treatment-related expenses

* Rent and household expenses

* Groceries and everyday essentials

* Fertility preservation costs from freezing my eggs

* Transportation and other unexpected costs during treatment
