Help My Dog, Bailey, Get the Surgery She Needs!

Hi everyone,

For those who know me, you know just how much my dog Bailey means to me. She’s not just a pet, but a beloved member of my family, and I’m reaching out because she needs help.

Bailey, a 4-year-old rescue— and rock enthusiast, has been an incredible part of my life since we brought her home in June of 2020. Unfortunately, over the past year, she’s been through quite a bit. In January 2024, Bailey tore her right ACL, requiring surgery in March to repair the damage. After months of recovery, I was hopeful she’d return to her joyful, active self.

Unfortunately, this past December, while I was out of town she was running around the yard and injured herself again. When I returned from my trip, I found she was in pain and immediately took her to the vet.  After x-rays and an initial diagnosis of hip dysplasia with swelling in the hips, I decided to get a second opinion from a specialist. After a thorough exam and additional review of her x-rays, the specialist delivered the heartbreaking news: Bailey had now torn her left ACL.

Due to this new injury, Bailey needs surgery again, and it's urgent. She’s in pain, struggling to move around, and without this surgery, her condition could worsen, leading to more complications down the road.

The cost of this surgery is significant, and with the expenses from her first ACL surgery still hanging over me, I’m unable to cover the cost of this new, unexpected procedure. Bailey is like my child, and I would do anything to give her the best quality of life possible.

That’s why I’m humbly asking for your support. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help to cover Bailey’s new surgery and recovery. Your generosity means the world to me, and I just want to see her healthy, pain-free, and back to being the playful dog she once was.
