Help Bailey Walk Again: Surgery Fund

Donation protected
Hello everyone, I am Elizabeth Vasilevsky. My dog Bailey is a long haired dachshund. He is only six years old and has been diagnosed with IVDD, which stands for Intervertebral Disc Disease. Dachshunds are prone to this spinal disease, but Bailey progressed with it very quickly. His hind legs suddenly gave out and became paralyzed. Bailey cannot walk or pee on his own. He is currently in the emergency room at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Eatontown. Surgery has been recommended to remove the herniated disk. The surgery has a 90% chance at recovery. Bailey needs an MRI and the surgery, which total to be around $16,000 + additional costs for post operative care. Bailey is our only dog and he is like a child to me and my family. We are truly traumatized and saddened by this news. We want to save Bailey. Anything helps, even sharing Bailey’s story to others. Thank you.
