Bailey is our 3 year old pitbull, and she is truly one of the sweetest, most playful dogs you’ll ever meet. She’s not just a pet, she’s family. My wife rescued her when she was just 6 months old, and since then Bailey has been nothing but love, loyalty, and pure joy in our home. Last year, while playing in the snow, Bailey fully tore the ACL in her back left leg. We did everything we could and made sure she got surgery to repair it. During that process, we learned that her right leg was partially torn as well. At the time, we simply didn’t have the financial ability to repair both legs back to back. Now her right leg has gotten worse, and it’s time. The longer we wait, the harder it becomes for her to walk, play, and just be the happy dog she’s always been. None of this is her fault, she was just being her joyful, playful self.

On top of that, my wife and I are expecting our first baby girl. As excited as we are to become parents, we also know that juggling full time newborn care and a major surgery recovery for Bailey at the same time will be overwhelming. More importantly, we want Bailey healed and strong before the baby arrives so there’s no risk of her hurting herself further or facing complications that could threaten her health.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward Bailey’s surgery and aftercare. This isn’t about comfort, it’s about giving her the chance to live without pain and giving our growing family stability during a huge life transition. If you feel led to help, whether by donating or simply sharing Bailey’s story, we would be deeply grateful. We don’t ask lightly. Bailey has given us unconditional love since the day she came home, and we just want to give her the same chance in return. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering helping our girl.
