Help Bailey Stabilize from Congestive Heart Failure

Hi, I’m Sara. Never thought I would make one of these, especially not sitting in a room at an emergency vet. My Bailey, bailsypails, bailzini, bailsaroonie, my best friend is currently dealing with symptoms from congestive heart failure.

I noticed something off with her breathing and after speaking to a vet they suggested the ER. When we got here, they took her in stat and found out she had fluid buildup around her heart and lungs and she has congestive heart failure…

So, it’s manageable, but she needs to be stabilized. She is in oxygen and getting IV lasix right now in hopes of taking the fluid off.

Unfortunately financially I am in a tight position. I have had this girl, all her life and half of mine. She has been with me through some of my worst times and I do not think I would’ve made it through them without her.

They feel they can get her stable and on oral meds and she can still have time at home with good quality of life but the emergency care to stabilize her, will be the cost I am trying to cover
