Bailey James is my 9-year-old service dog and my constant companion, especially as I’ve faced my own battle with cancer. He’s not just a pet—he’s my lifeline. I got Bailey James when he was just 6 weeks old, so tiny he fit in the palm of my hand. Since then, we’ve been inseparable, and this Valentine’s Day will mark our 9 years together. Out of the hundreds of dogs I’ve had, Bailey James is truly the best.
Recently, Bailey James was diagnosed with a mass tumor and needs surgery to remove it. He’s already been through chemo, showing incredible strength and resilience, just as he’s helped me through my own health challenges. The cost of surgery and the care he needs is overwhelming, and I want to do everything I can to give him the best chance at recovery.
Bailey James is also my service dog, and I would hate to lose him. I would miss his awesome personality every day. I’m reaching out for help because Bailey James means everything to me. Any support you can offer will go directly toward his surgery and recovery, giving us more time together. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering a donation and for supporting us during this difficult time.
