Help Finish Bailey's Cancer Treatment

Bailey made it through surgery — now he needs chemo to survive and thrive.

Thanks to the generosity of so many of you, Bailey recently had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. It was a huge step, and I’m beyond grateful to say he’s recovering well.

But we’re not done yet. In order to stop the cancer from spreading or returning, Bailey now needs six rounds of chemotherapy, and each round costs $900. His care team says this treatment could add years to his life — happy, healthy years he absolutely deserves.

So far, I’ve spent over $7,000 on diagnostics, staging, consultations, and surgery. I’ve done everything I can financially to get him to this point. I’m continuing to contribute what I can, but I can’t cover the cost of chemo alone.

I know times are tough, and I’m not asking for large donations — even $5 or $10 helps more than you know. And if you’ve already given: thank you, truly. Sharing this page helps just as much as donating.

Bailey is my heart. He’s still full of life and love — and with this treatment, he has a real chance to stay by my side for years to come.

Thank you so much for helping us keep moving forward. Your support means everything.

Support Bailey’s Cancer Treatment

Hi, Friends,
My sweet dog Bailey (short for Balerion the Black Dread) has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his anal gland and needs it removed in the next couple of weeks before it has the chance to spread. The treatment plan includes surgery to remove the tumor and chemotherapy to make sure they capture all of the cells — but the cost is overwhelming. Between diagnostics, surgery, chemo, medications, and follow-up care, the bills are adding up fast. I have pet insurance for most of his medical needs, but it doesn't include coverage for the high costs of anything treating cancer.

Bailey is extremely brave, innocent, sweet, and means the world to me — he's more than a pet, he is my child. My own little dragon, even named for my favorite dragon from a certain fantasy series. He's given me so much love and comfort, and now I’m trying to give him the best chance at a healthy, happy life. He is a ten-year-old Yorkshire Terrier and has many more years of life left in him if this cancerous tumor is not allowed to spread. Yorkies can live up to 16 or more years, and he is in perfect health if we remove this tumor.

Any amount you can give will go directly toward Bailey’s vet bills. It’s incredibly hard to ask for help — but even a small donation or a share can make a huge difference.

Thank you so much for your kindness and support.

With love and hope,
Courtenay & Bailey
