Bailey is my 8-year-old dog, and he means the world to me. Recently, Bailey has faced a series of health challenges that have made life difficult for him and our family. He had one eye removed due to a ruptured ulcer, and now he has a smaller ulcer in his remaining eye. On top of that, Bailey likely has Cushing’s disease, which needs to be diagnosed and treated with medication. He is also dealing with gallbladder mucoses, and his care team believes he needs further testing to determine whether medication can help or if gallbladder removal surgery is necessary. Unfortunately, we do not have the means to pay for Bailey’s treatment, and we were denied CareCredit due to low credit. We are searching for ways to help fundraise for Bailey’s care, because his prognosis for a quality life is good if he receives proper treatment.

The funds raised will help us take Bailey to a primary care vet for diagnosis of Cushing’s or other causes of his bladder issues. He also needs testing at OSU on his gallbladder to determine if it needs to be removed or if medication can reverse the damage. If necessary, funds will be used for gallbladder removal surgery, which has a 97% survival rate, as well as for his medication costs. Your support will give Bailey the chance to live a happy, healthy life and stay with our family for years to come.
