My name is Kristy and I am raising money for my daughter Bailey Free. Bailey attended a high school Skills USA Nevada State Conference in Reno and brought home the GOLD!! She was beyond excited and my Mama heart was so proud of her. Those that know her know she’s very shy and for her to get up in front of judges and discuss her Crime Scene Investigator Photographer project was huge steps and to bring home the gold was such an amazing accomplishment for her. She has come such a long way and I am so proud. Winning Gold means she was invited to go to the National Skills USA Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. It is a truly amazing opportunity but not one I can afford for her. They were given short notice to pay for the trip and if she’s unable to confirm by May 1st for the June trip they will take the silver medalist in her place. If you knew how far she has come the last couple years you would understand what a huge deal this is for all of us. We would be forever grateful for any help to make this happen for her. Unfortunately they won’t allow her to fly using my flight benefits they understandably need a guarantee she will make it so we don’t take the spot from the Silver medalist. The cost for airfare, registration, hotel and food is over $2,000 and that doesn’t include spending money. Again we would greatly appreciate any help wether it’s contribution or a share of her story.
