Hey everyone, On November 8, 2022, I am having lower back surgery (microdiscectomy) for a herniated disc that was pushing out and down on the sciatic nerve that made it almost impossible to walk, much less work, due to pain. After numerous visits to urgent care, multiple Dr visits,medication, and PT, nothing eased the pain so I decided on the surgery out of desperation for relief. I have been unable to work since early September and have exhausted any funding available. I was told my recovery time would be 4-6 weeks. While funding is rapidly running out, monthly bills and medical expenses continue to roll in.
