Bailee, our friends' sweet Australian Shepherd and mother to our Ruby, was recently hit by a speeding car. She was seen at the emergency hospital and x-rays showed a left pelvic fracture which included 3 broken bones. Orthopedic surgery was recommended due to the severity of the injury. The surgeon evaluated Bailee and advised on immediate intervention. One of the broken bones was posing a life threat to the poor girl. Since Bailee serves as an emotional support animal to our dear friends' 2 children with special needs, the decision was made to continue with the life saving operation. The cost of surgery was quite expensive so we would like to help our friends. We are reaching out to aid in funds for the procedure. Any help would mean a lot to the family and would be greatly appreciated.
