Bahiyyah is a talented Actress, Dancer, Writer, Teacher, Youth mentor and Mother. On February 8th 2016 she was admitted to the hospital after a fall. After running X-rays and other medical test,  a tumor was found in her left lung. Days later she was diagnosed her with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. This came as a shock to Bahiyyah and family and has since changed her life and her ability to continue with her regular activities and work. We've set a goal to raise $50,000 which will aid Bahiyyah in her natural healing modalities as well as her daily needs while she is out of work taking this time to focus on her health. We've come to understand that there is huge deficit of resources when individuals decides to take alternative routes to treating cancer. What is considered basic support for cancer patients such as social security disability, special grants and treatments paid through their medical insurance, no longer becomes an option for individuals  who decide to go against the recommended standard cancer treatments. Bahiyyah has always been an advocate for natural healing  and wellness practices and does not support the use of chemotherapy drugs which has been her only option when dealing with the medical doctors. The funds raised will ensure that Bahiyyah is receiving all the proper care she deserves while taking this time to recover.
