Hello everyone,
My name is JoAnna, and I have a super cute pooch named "Bah-ba" and my entire world revolves around him, he's a 2 year old Maltipoo. He's my little shadow and the best friend a woman could ask for. He came into my life at a time when I needed him most. He's energetic, playful, and full of life, but he needs a little help to stay that way.
Bah-ba was born with a hernia on his stomach that he needs to have surgery for, and he also needs to be neutered, and be prescribed medication for his nervous anxiety. My goal is to make sure that he has a long and happy life. I've taken him to the vet and got an estimate for his surgery and to be neutered and it will be approximately $600.00 for both, however it could be more now as I got that estimate a while back. (I've attached a copy of the estimate for you to see the breakdown.)
I'm an older woman who works part-time to supplement my fixed income, so covering the cost along with the necessary after care, specialized recovery food, ect is a difficult mountain for me to climb right now. I work really hard to take care of Bah-ba but now I'm finding that I'm in need of help and his health can't wait any longer.
My goal is to raise $1500.00 which will cover:
- The $600 plus Vet Estimate (surgery and anesthesia)
- Post-op medicines (pain relief and antibiotics)
- Good quality recovery food to help him heal
- Anti anxiety meds
- And a little security for me to take off work for a few days to care for him
- And lastly, The GofundMe platform fees
Finally, I want to leave you with a note from my heart:
It isn't easy for me to ask for help, but I'm putting my pride aside and doing it because Bah-ba deserves the very best care. He has brought me so much joy and companionship and for what he's given me, I will do what I must to give him what he needs, its the least I can do for the love he brings into my world. ♥️
