Urgent appeal to help Bahaa to evacuate Gaza
Donation protected
My name is Luz Monteagudo. I am from Spain, and I have launched this campaign on behalf of my palestinian friend Bahaa, currently trapped in the hell of Gaza. The goal of this campaign is helping him to evacuate Gaza once the Rafah Crossing reopens, and resume his dentistry studies in an Egyptian University. Since Gofundme does not operate with Middle East Countries’ banks, I am the one receiving the funds, which I am later transferring to Bahaa.
The distribution of the funds will be as it follows:
-Fees to evacuate Gaza: 5000 €
-University fees and living expenses in Egypt: 8000 €
-Immediate needs for the seven members of his family (food, gas, water and medicines) : 1000 €
Now, I invite you to read Bahaa's letter.

Hello,
I am Bahaa Mousa. This month I will turn 22 years old. I am from Gaza, specifically from the city of Deir al-Balah. I study dentistry at Al-Azhar University or, I must say, I was studying until nine months ago when the war started.
I was supposed to be in my fourth year of study these days, preparing for my graduation year to become a dentist as I had dreamed and planned with my family and loved ones. The fourth year marks the beginning of the clinical phase. I was very excited about this year because it precedes graduation. Only a little remained to achieve my dream.
The university started one week before the war began, and I had already started dealing with actual patients. My first patient was my best friend, Uday. But October 7th, the day the war began, was the last scheduled treatment session, and unfortunately, I did not complete the treatment of my first patient.
Unfortunately, my university was also destroyed and bombed in the ongoing genocide war, and all my belongings and tools, estimated to be worth $2000-$3000, were destroyed.

This war did not only destroy my dreams. The burden on my parents became great. Amid these pressures, I decided, after much difficulty, to launch this campaign to continue my education outside Gaza and to relieve my parents of an additional burden because travel and study costs are high. The coordination fee for the crossing is $5000, and housing and other essential and study expenses are no less than $8000.
After losing what remained of hope and after losing my university and my future, I found no other way to continue my life and try to travel to complete my university education. I do not know how many of the three years I studied will be credited, and I do not know if any year will be credited at all.
I kept waiting for the end of the genocide war to take a step towards my postponed future, but to no avail. The war has not ended yet, and things are still getting worse, and life has become impossible here.

I hope everyone who sees my story helps me spread it and make this campaign successful so I can start my life anew.
After much thought, I vowed that every dollar collected in this campaign would be a debt I would repay to another needy person when I am able.

Any donation, no matter how small, will help me to reach my goal of escaping this living death and resume my studies. If you cannot donate, I kindly ask you to share my story with your friends and relatives.
Sincerely,
Bahaa Mousa
