Baghera is more than just my dog—he’s my therapy companion and has been by my side since he was just three weeks old and homeless in the marsh. Through some of my darkest times, Baghera has given me purpose and hope. He’s the sweetest, most loving boy, and we’ve never been apart except for when I was hospitalized last year for pneumonia. Baghera has extreme anxiety when we’re separated, and I know how much he depends on me, just as I depend on him.

Recently, Baghera started having diarrhea, which quickly escalated into bloody stool. I’ve done everything I can at home to help him—giving him electrolyte fluids, switching his diet to bland foods like chicken, white rice, and carrots, and providing over-the-counter anti-diarrhea medicine for dogs. Despite my efforts, it’s just not enough. He’s getting weaker, and now there’s blood in his stool. I’m heartbroken that I can’t rush him to the vet or emergency clinic because I simply don’t have the funds right now. He needs urgent care, and I want to make sure he gets the best treatment possible. The funds raised will go directly toward his initial exam, x-rays, blood work, diagnosis, fluids, hospital stay, medication, follow-up appointments, changes to his diet, and any other recommendations or costs from the vet appointment today. I found a clinic that will see him without a down payment and unfortunately I wasn't able to raise enough yet to cover the bill and I was turned down by Cherry Payment Plan .....

Baghera is truly a loyal, loving, and friendly dog who has brought so much light into my life. I’m reaching out for help because he deserves the best care, and I want to do everything I can for him.
