The Katokwa family is humbly asking for your support during this hard time. Our father, Bagaye Katokwa, is in critical condition at the Medical Center Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.
Born in Congo, where he worked as a doctor for Red Cross for many years, he was always a compassionate person who everyone loved. Later in life, he transitioned to the role of Chairman for the Uganda government where he was highly respected. He was well known and well liked because he had a special way of connecting with people.
After spending 25 years in the refugee camp, Bagaye was finally able to bring us here to the United States with the intention of creating a better life for his family. He has lived in the nursing home for 4 years and 6 months and last week he was transferred to the hospital and is in a coma. His doctors have told us that he will not make it. We are devastated at this news of our fathers critical condition.
We have been paying everything we have for his medical bills but we still have much more to pay off the debt. We will need help with funeral expenses when the time comes as well.
We deeply appreciate any donations from the bottom of our hearts and we will not forget the help and support you are giving us.
We really need your help.
From Bagaye's children and 7 grandchildren,
Tushukuru, Penina, Inocent and Sikajuwa
