Help Back the "Get Back Up Again Tour" - 2021

THE STORY
In the early spring of 2020, performers were absolutely sidelined. While we understood the reason why, it didn’t console us as we had to pack up our gear and stop performing for an indefinite amount of time.

It was a dark period in a lot of our lives, myself included, but I was inspired by my friend Chris Bepko’s song “Get Back Up Again.” With lyrics like “tryna drive my life without two flat tires...” and “sometimes in life you go through something, but you gonna grow through whatever you go through” the song instantly resonated with me.

Through my own darkness and demons, I was able to quit being bitter about my circumstances and began to focus on getting back up again. So with that, I decided to finally write my first solo album and began recording it and knew that I wanted to hit the road once it was released. Despite my surprise, Bepko wanted to go on this run with me.

Because we’re both songwriters in addition to being musicians and entertainers, we thought it would be challenging and fun to write a 6-song EP of acoustic tunes while on the road which we could record at various hotels, truck stops, and rest areas.

As if that wasn’t enough, when our friend Chris Foster heard about two independent musicians trying to tour the country as things are just opening up again while simultaneously writing and making a record, he thought it would make a compelling mini-documentary about the honest and inside look of touring musicians in a semi-post-covid-America.

So this tour became something we’ve never done before: touring the country while writing a record and filming a movie about it where literally anything can happen. What a crazy idea!

We are hoping that these efforts will help other musicians and people in various other industries who have been stifled for the last year (and more) to get back up again and that it helps inspire the next wave or generation of musicians to be bold and take adventures.

We’re excited to bring this unique acoustic show to your venue or home and we look forward to making memories with you!

HOW YOUR DONATIONS WILL BE USED
Your donations will help lower the cost of the tour package, making us more affordable to mom and pop venues and smaller clubs that otherwise couldn't afford a tour package. This will also help us travel using means that allow us to write and record the acoustic EP in order to give you the best listening experience possible.

If we're able to turn a profit on this trip, you'll also be helping us raise up the next generation of musicians and entertainers as we'll be donating a portion of the profits to the Lewis P. Tabarrini Children's Music Outreach Foundation in Ft. Myers which provides instruments and access to lessons to kids who otherwise couldn't afford it.

If we're not able to raise enough funds via crowdfunding and sponsorship, we'll have to cut things like the documentary, a driver, the RV, etc. making for a much smaller and more costly tour package.
