Help Bacchus Pseudanor Create Their Short Film

Hi,

My name is Bacchus Pseudanor and I am a 22 year old film student hoping to make a short film for my final school year at Cornish College of the Arts. Despite working two on-call jobs, I unfortunately cannot cover the total cost of filming with the most significant costs being for my filming location.

I’m hoping to start filming in late December to early January. The last film I made cost me over $4,000 and I had to endure verbal abuse at my job to raise that money. If I can raise $2,500 for even just the partial payment of the filming location, it would alleviate my stress greatly.

On average, during my location scouting, houses on PeerSpace which fit the look and feel for my character cost about $250 per hour; on AirBnB, where most filmmakers turn to for cheaper filming locations, houses range between $200 - $460 per night. The $2,500 will go towards supplementing transportation fees, location fees, crew members and food.

Anyone who donates will be listed in the credits of this film. My short film is a comedy which takes a look at cultural attitudes about relationships and personal aesthetics through arranged marriages. As we progress I will continue to give updates.
