A special needs pup needs your help
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Animal Lovers and Compassionate Supporters,
This fundraiser is to help with medical expenses for a beautiful and brave 9 month old special-needs puppy named Babygirl, who was found as a crippled stray struggling to survive and today needs urgent medical treatment. Despite her condition, her will to live and love is undeniable.
Babygirl’s Recent Injury

Please note: I’ve had some very positive experiences on Rover in the past. I have an amazing sitter I found on there but when she was unavailable, I found a new sitter who has over 150 five star ratings. My dogs and I did a meet and greet with her to make sure it was a good match beforehand.
When the dogs were picked up from the sitter’s, a big chunk of Babygirl’s paw was missing and the skin was hanging off.
Because the services were booked off Rover, it is not covered under insurance.
Babygirl has also became fecal incontinent very recently.

Babygirl’s pre-existing conditions disqualify her from most pet insurance claims, so the vet advised against insurance. All costs are covered out of pocket by her mom, Aliesha. As many of you may know, Aliesha is facing significant health and financial hardships due to ongoing legal battles. At the same time, she is doing everything she can to care for her special needs dog, Babygirl, and is in urgent need of your support to cover her ongoing mounting vet bills.
Babygirl's Medical History and Miracle
At her initial neurology appointment, Babygirl was given a poor prognosis, with doctors saying she would likely never walk again. But after just two weeks of treatment, she defied the odds and surprised everyone by starting to walk. Her determination is nothing short of miraculous!
However, Babygirl’s journey is far from over.
While Babygirl can walk and even run today, her back legs remain stiff and unresponsive. She requires aggressive physiotherapy, neurological care, and ongoing medical treatment for continued progress.
Details on her upcoming medical expenses:
Babygirl's neurologist has asked to do an MRI and additional testing, with the following estimated costs:

These estimates do not factor in her regular vet visits. Any additional money left over will be used on her physiotherapy, vet bills, and wheelchair.
Babygirl's Rescue Story
Babygirl was rescued by Aliesha during a trip to India 6 months ago. She was found as a 3 month old crippled baby, struggling to survive alongside her two sisters on the streets. Babygirl would not have made it on the streets for long. After multiple failed attempts to get her adopted locally, Aliesha, a devoted animal lover and rescuer, brought Babygirl and her sisters all the way to Canada, giving them a chance at a good life.
