Help baby Zayden
Donation protected
Baby Zayden was supposed to be born March 23, 2017. On December 20, 2016, barely 6 months into her pregnancy, his mother went into labor. She had to be rushed to the hospital in Rapid City SD, 374 miles away from home, where she unexpectedly gave birth to baby Zayden. At birth, Zayden only weighed 2.4lbs and is expected to be in the hospital until his original birth date.
Baby Zayden's mother, Alex, needs to be by his side all the time because baby Zayden is experiencing life threatening complications such as lack of oxygen in his blood and is not able to breathe on his own. Like most preemies, baby Zayden is struggling to stay alive. This has caught the family completely off guard. They spent Christmas and New Year at the hospital away from the rest of their family and their friends. To add to the complicated situation, Alex is 16, which means that her mother, Gladys, has to be with her to make any important decision which could be required regarding baby Zayden's health condition.
I am starting this fund for my friend Gladys, her daughter Alex and her takoja (grandchild), Zayden. No mother should have to worry about whether or not they can afford to stay by their baby's side in such a critical and emotional moment.
This fund will serve to pay for travel, food and motel expenses, missing work, medical bills and any other unexpected expenses.
Any amount you can contribute will help and will be greatly appreciated. But above all, I ask for your prayers of healing for baby Zayden and his family.
Thank you!! Wopila tanka!!
