Hi, my name is Ashley, and I’m reaching out with a heart full of love and worry for our daughter, Valerie.

At just 24 weeks pregnant, my water unexpectedly broke. We rushed to the hospital, and I had to undergo an emergency C-section. Doctors warned us that our baby girl might not survive—but Valerie has been fighting every single day since.

Valerie is now in the NICU and has been diagnosed with a severe brain bleed—Grade 2 on one side and Grade 4 on the other. Despite these challenges, she continues to show strength and resilience beyond her tiny size.

While Valerie fights for her life, I’ve been battling health complications of my own. I’ve been fighting off an infection, experiencing fevers even while on antibiotics and Tylenol.

We are asking for support to help cover:

• Medical expenses for Valerie’s intensive care and ongoing treatment

• Transportation costs to and from the NICU so we can be with our daughter

• Living expenses, including rent, food, and utilities while we are out of work

• Any emergency costs that arise from our ongoing health needs
