Dear Friends,

My colleague, Hazzel, recently welcomed a baby girl named Tonia to this world. Tonia has fought hard to have a place in this world, she was born premature and now diagnosed with Cystic Hygroma. This condition results in a fluid-filled sac formed from a blockage in the lymphatic system. In Tonia’s case, it has been building up in her neck and, if left untreated, will be fatal.

Unfortunately, Tonia lives in a country that does not provide free medical care and adequate insurance is not provided to cover a procedure of this magnitude. The family is already financially exhausted from the unforeseen medical expenses due to the complications of Tonia’s premature birth.

To give this beautiful girl a fighting chance to grow up, to dream, to live is a $6,000.00 surgery. This situation has brought me to tears and has hurt my soul knowing that it’s a situation that I can’t fix on my own. Tonia needs help from the world of kind people, people that can help spread this link within their circle of family and friends, people that can help by sharing this link at work with colleagues and people that can help donate. A donation even in the smallest amount will help save her life.
