Help Baby Denver and the Wingo Family
Hi everyone, my name is Sarah and my husband is Paul. On June 9th when I was 23 weeks pregnant, we learned that I had to be admitted to the hospital to stay until delivery at 36 weeks (September 6th). I have a large uterine dehiscence, which is a very thin spot in the uterus, putting it at high risk of rupture which could be fatal for both me and the baby. The doctors want me in the hospital so that they can constantly monitor me and the baby and be ready to do a c-section immediately if necessary. We are hoping and praying to make it to 36 weeks, but there is a strong chance that delivery could be earlier.
This news was very unexpected, and has been a big shock for our family. We have five children and having to leave them to be admitted for a long-term stay in the hospital was very hard for me. Paul has taken an extended leave of absence from work so that he can stay home with our children, but now we have no income for this time period. Asking for help is very awkward for us, but at this point we are willing to try for the sake of our family while we get through this difficult time.
We plan to use any money raised to pay our bills and pay for groceries while I am in the hospital and Paul is at home with the kids. We greatly appreciate anything that can be done to help our family, and we appreciate any prayers for Baby Thomas.
