Our baby boy, Teddy, was born very premature, and he has a long fight ahead.

After a difficult and costly IVF journey, we thought the hardest part was behind us. However, two months ago, an emergency surgery was required to try and delay an early delivery. Despite every effort to keep him safe, our son was born this week—three months premature.

At 3lbs and 1 ounce, Our boy is working hard in the NICU, where he will need intensive medical care for at least the next 72-90 days to reach full term. It depends on how he progresses.

Why we are asking for help:

Apparently we don’t do boring. We’ve a few had costly miracles all along the way with the mounting IVF costs, the emergency surgery, surprise delivery, and now a likely close to three-month hospital stay, we have reached a point where we must set our pride aside. The financial weight of his specialized care and the reality of being bedside every day has become more than we can carry alone.
