Help Baby Savanah Beat Leukemia
Donation protected
Imagine never knowing a day without pain. Savanah lives life that way at 10 months old. She has spent most of her life in the hospital, and is expecting at least another six months. In fact, Savanah will still be in the hospital when her new baby sister arrives.
Savanah began her life sick, but full of happiness and joy. Transfusions, tests, pokes and prods culminating with a diagnosis at 9 months; myeloid sarcoma, AML acute myeloid leukemia and complete bone marrow failure. The results of these ailments have left Savannah with no immune system and tumors on her kidneys, spine, liver, lungs, and spleen. Treatment involves a series of multiple chemo therapy treatments daily, bone marrow biopsies and 24 hour critical care. Through it all, Savanah remains loving and happy. You see, in spite of all the anguish and pain this little girl has never known what “normal life” is.
To continue her battle, Savanah and her parents will have to relocate to Tucson, AZ near the Diamond Children’s Hospital for a bone marrow transplant and continued chemo therapy. We would like to eliminate any financial worries for Chet and Cristal so they can dedicate their focus on Savanah’s care and recovery. Any contributions will help and be greatly appreciated.
