Sasha’s Rescue Story — Help Save Her Leg
Hi everyone,
I’d love to introduce you to Sasha, a sweet 4-month-old puppy who’s already been through so much in her short life. She was found wandering the streets of San Bernardino County, alone and limping. The local shelter took her in and brought her to a partnering vet, where it was confirmed that she has a broken hind leg.
Sadly, the shelter is overcrowded, and for injured animals like Sasha, that often means they’re at risk of being euthanized, simply because there aren’t enough resources to care for them.
Thankfully, the manager at the animal hospital didn’t give up on her. She reached out to her network of peers and colleagues to see if anyone could foster Sasha and help her heal. That’s when her photo made its way to me, and as soon as I saw her little face, I completely fell in love.
I knew I had to step in and give her a chance. Sasha is now safe with me, full of love and puppy kisses, but she still needs help to recover. Her leg will require major reconstructive ortho surgery so she can grow strong and live pain-free.
I’m trying to raise enough money to cover the cost of her surgery, medications, and follow-up care. Every dollar makes a difference and will go directly toward giving Sasha the happy, healthy life she deserves.
If you’re able to donate, I can’t thank you enough. And if you’re not in a position to give, please share her story to help us reach others who might be able to help.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping baby Sasha get the second chance she so deserves. ❤️
