Support for Baby Rocco and His Family as They Navigate Life with Type 1 Diabetes
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,
We’re reaching out today with heavy hearts and a humble request for support for my sister Emily, her husband Jesse, and their sweet little boy, Rocco.
Rocco is not yet two years old, and he has just been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes—a lifelong, chronic condition that will require constant monitoring, daily insulin, and ongoing medical care. This diagnosis has turned their world upside down.
Emily and Jesse are loving, devoted parents who are now facing an overwhelming new reality. As they begin to learn how to manage Rocco’s condition, they are also facing a serious financial strain. Emily will need to stay home full-time to care for Rocco and manage his disease—care that is intensive and non-negotiable at this age. This means their family is now down to one income, just as their medical and living expenses are increasing dramatically.
They are already struggling to make ends meet, and now they must also shoulder the cost of insulin, blood sugar monitors, medical supplies, and other diabetes-related necessities—costs that can be unpredictable and ongoing.
We are asking for any support you can offer to help ease this burden and allow Emily and Jesse to focus on what matters most: keeping Rocco healthy, safe, and thriving as they learn to live with this diagnosis.
Your donation will go directly toward:
Insulin and diabetes management supplies
Ongoing medical visits and emergencies
Basic living expenses as they adjust to a single income
Peace of mind during a very difficult time
Every little bit helps, and your generosity means more than words can say. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this with others who might be able to help.
Thank you for holding this family in your heart. Your kindness and support will carry them through.
With deep gratitude,
Genevieve
