Hi I'm Theano and I have set up a GoFundMe for the wonderful Fred & Bethany and their beautiful baby girl Riley.

Bethany had an emergency C-section on 2 April 2025 due the baby's heart rate dropping and Bethany being extremely unwell with severe pre-eclampsia. Baby Riley was only 26 weeks gestation (14 weeks early) and weighed a tiny 580 grams (1.2 pounds)

Baby Riley is currently intubated in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Aga Khan Hospital in Kenya. She's fighting for her little life! She is being ventilated and has just had a central line put in. The name Riley means 'valiant' or 'courageous' and she's already lived up to that name!

Fred & Bethany: These guys work as missionaries in Mathare, one of the toughest slums, in Nairobi Kenya. They share Christ's love in feeding 3000 vulnerable children, and street-connected families. See their work here: https://www.joy-divine.com/
