The Belching Beaver Brewery family is coming together to support one of our own — Richard Mejia, a dedicated member of our production team who has been with us for a little over a year.

Recently, Richard and his girlfriend, Margarita, welcomed their first child, Richard Mejia Jr., into the world. Their joy quickly turned to worry when baby Richard was born prematurely at just 7 months. He is currently in the hospital, bravely battling respiratory complications and struggling with being underweight.

As you can imagine, the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. Richard has been doing everything he can to stay afloat — working full-time with us, driving for Uber before shifts, and spending every possible moment at the hospital with his newborn son. Despite his tireless efforts, medical bills and related expenses are quickly adding up.

We’re asking our community to come together and help support Richard and his family during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation — no matter the size — will go directly toward medical costs, hospital visits, and essential expenses to help baby Richard Jr. grow stronger each day.
