Help Baby Reece and the Zink Family

Our beloved friends the Zink Family need our help. Kristin and Justin Zink gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on September 9, 2020.  At only 10 days old, Reece started having seizures. After many tests and time spent at the hospital, last week Reece was diagnosed with STXBP1 Encephalopathy. The STXBP1 gene mutation is extremely rare and only about 200 cases have been identified so far, which makes treatment even more costly and difficult for the family.  The gene plays a role in the release of neurotransmitters. Reece’s gene has a mutation and does not function properly. Due to this mutation he will experience many complications such as seizures, severe developmental delays, intellectual disability, tremors, ataxia, non-verbal or minimal speech, potentially not walking, being unable to self-feed, orthotics, wheelchairs, and walkers.

There are no words for this. We are praying and asking for hope and help. We want to take any and all of the financial burden out of the equation. Whatever you can give to support this family will help. Every dollar will go to Baby Reece and the Zink Family to help them with Reece’s medical care and needs.  Please support and continue to pray for this wonderful family.
