My 3 month old son was recently diagnosed with hydrocephalus also known as water on the brain this was something he was born with and just recently it started affecting him with swelling in his head and the pressure was affecting his eyes to the point he couldn't even move them he was airlifted 3 hours away to Sacred Heart Children's Hospital where they did emergency brain surgery to place a shunt to drain all the extra fluid off his brain his brain was extremely swollen and now its a waiting game to see if there will be any lasting affects to his brain and eyes he will now need therapy to try to rehabilitate him he will need continuing care throughout his life along with surgery's to replace his shunt when it malfunctions or if my little guy outgrows it we now have medical bills traveling costs and much more expense due to my sons condition. We Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this.
