My name is Moet, and I am the proud mother of a beautiful baby girl named Nylah, born on September 21st. From the very beginning, my pregnancy was filled with complications, and since her birth, Nylah has continued to face overwhelming medical challenges.

Nylah has been in the NICU at Texas Children’s Hospital, bravely fighting through respiratory failure, severe ventriculomegaly (a condition where fluid builds up in the brain), and Dandy-Walker syndrome, cns anomalies, septo-optic dysplasia. Because of the fluid accumulating in her brain, her head continues to grow larger each day, and doctors are closely monitoring her condition.

Very soon, Nylah will need brain surgery to place a shunt, which will help drain the excess fluid and prevent further damage. This surgery is critical for her survival and long-term development, followed by extensive aftercare and monitoring.

Despite working two jobs, the medical bills have become overwhelming. Nylah’s insurance has now reached its limit, and I am being asked to cover additional costs for her ongoing care, hospital stay, surgery, and recovery. The expenses continue to rise, and We are doing everything we can — but I cannot do this alone.

Every single day, I watch my daughter fight with incredible strength. Nylah is the most precious thing in the world to me, and all I want is to give her the best chance at a healthy life.
