Help Baby Noa Recover From Leukemia
Our good friend and fellow mom in our community, Astrid Herrera, has just learned that her youngest daughter Noa, 6 months old, has been diagnosed with leukemia.
Astrid is a mother of 5 and an amazing person, who works tirelessly to advocate for others in her community, and for her children, two of whom live with autism.
We have been friends for almost a decade, through which I've seen Astrid support as many people as she can with her love, grace and good humor.
Astrid works primarily doing childcare and through her home cleaning business, so spending time with Noa during her treatment will be a tremendous financial burden. Luckily, Noa will be getting the excellent care offered at Kaiser Oakland; we do not yet know enough to share what treatment will look like, but we know it will be a very long road.
The family will be so grateful for any support. Even a $5 or $10 donation will be a much needed coffee or meal during a hospital visit, or a bridge toll to see Noa. Thank you so much for reading this and offering any support you can provide.
