Hi! Last March 14, I gave birth to our strong and beautiful baby girl, Mila Imara, earlier than expected at 31 weeks. She weighed 1.8 kg.

It’s something no mother ever hopes to go through, but we are holding on to faith as we navigate this unexpected journey.

Mila Imara, whose name means “gracious and strong”, is currently in the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), bravely fighting as her lungs continue to develop.

Today is Day 12, and she is on CPAP to support her breathing. Every day, we see her grow stronger, and each small milestone, every breath, every gain, feels like a miracle.

As parents, we continue to hold on to hope, faith, and love through this difficult time. At the same time, the reality of ongoing PICU/NICU care, treatments, and medical expenses continues to grow.
