️ Help Baby Melody Fight Meningitis & Hearing Loss
Hi, my name is Nye, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my friend Lyric and her beautiful 10-month-old daughter, Melody Ky’asia Hanserd-Greene.
A few weeks ago, Lyric’s world changed overnight when baby Melody was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis—a life-threatening infection that landed her in the hospital for intensive care. After fighting through fever, swelling, and frightening symptoms, Melody survived. But the damage left behind has been heartbreaking.
Melody has now experienced significant hearing loss—a devastating complication of meningitis. As a 10-month-old still learning to explore the world, her future now includes a long journey of recovery, hearing treatments, specialist visits, and possibly hearing aids or cochlear implants.
Lyric is a single mother who has been doing everything she can to keep her daughter safe and supported. She’s been by Melody’s side every step of the way—sleeping in hospital chairs, talking to doctors, and navigating decisions no parent should have to make alone. But as the medical bills keep piling up, so does the emotional and financial weight of it all.

❤️ How You Can Help:
1. Donate — Every dollar helps, whether it’s $5 or $500.
2. Share — Please share this page with your friends, family, and community. The more eyes on this, the better.
3. Pray & Uplift — Lyric and Melody need all the love, strength, and support we can send their way.
Lyric didn’t ask for any of this—but right now, she needs us. If you’ve ever loved a child, been through a health scare, or just wanted to be a light in someone else’s darkness, this is your moment.
Thank you for standing with Melody and Lyric.
Every donation, share, and kind word makes a difference.
