Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support during a truly difficult time for my brother Miguel and his family. Their beautiful baby, Lukas, was born prematurely at just 29 weeks due to placental insufficiency, weighing only 2.1 pounds. This condition caused Lukas to arrive much earlier than expected, and the road ahead is uncertain and full of challenges.

As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly stressful and emotional time for my brother, Jasmine, and their family. Lukas is currently receiving intensive care in the NICU, fighting every day to grow stronger. He will be there for a minimum of 9-12 weeks. The medical team is doing everything they can, but the costs of staying in Winnipeg to be close to Lukas, commuting and missing work are adding up quickly.

This is where you come in. I am asking for your help to ease the financial burden on my brother and his family during this incredibly trying time. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly to covering these and support for my brother and Jasmine as they navigate this journey.
