Update 02/20/2025:
Baby Kristian's surgery was a success. The doctors were able to remove the damaged tissue from his lungs. On Saturday, February 15, he had his catheter tube removed. During the removal process, an air bubble formed between his ribs and lung, preventing the lung from expanding fully. On Monday, February 17, he underwent another procedure to place a flexible tube back into his lungs to drain the remaining fluid and release the trapped air.
Baby Kristian is still hospitalized and undergoing a 14-day antibiotic treatment, but he is recovering well. Baby Kristian and his family appreciate the blessings and prayers for his speedy recovery. We would also like to express our gratitude for all the contributions everyone has sent our way. Thank you! ❤️
Update 02/12/2025:
Baby Kristian will be having lung surgery on 2/13 in the morning. The infection was so severe that it basically damaged the lower part of his right lung, and no oxygen was able to travel to that part of the lung. It is considered dead and will need to be removed in order to save the rest of his right lung and prevent more bacteria from growing, possibly traveling elsewhere. He was on antibiotics, hoping his lung would expand back to its normal size, but unfortunately, it has come down to surgery. Thanks for all the prayers and blessings to our baby, Kristian.
Hello everyone,
We hope this message finds you well. We’re reaching out to share some challenging news about our son, baby Kristian. He has developed a severe case of pneumonia and is currently receiving care in the ICU. This situation took us by surprise during our family vacation abroad, and it has turned into quite an unexpected journey for us.
As we focus on baby Kristian’s recovery, we’ll be staying abroad a bit longer than planned, which means delaying our flights and stepping away from work for a while. We’re hopeful that he will be on the mend soon with the right care and treatment.
We would be deeply grateful for any prayers and positive thoughts you could share with us during this challenging time. Additionally, if anyone is able to offer financial support, it would greatly help alleviate the burden we are facing.
Thank you for your kindness.
Thank you so much for your love and support. We truly appreciate it!
Much love,
