Help Baby Joseph’s Family in Their Time Of Need.

Hi my name is Scott Thornton and I’m starting this Gofundme for our new nephew baby Joseph Patrick Baker. He had to be life flighted Christmas Day to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus Ohio. He’s in the the NICU there and having seizures. He is undergoing many tests and procedures to try and figure out what is wrong. The cause is unknown right now.

He was born Christmas morning at 3 am, full term at a healthy weight of 9lbs 3oz. He would not eat and by late afternoon on Christmas Day he had his first seizure. It was decided to Life Flight him at that time. Since arriving at Nationwide Children’s Hospital he has had multiple seizures. They chose to have a priest baptize him in the hospital room because they were worried he would not make it when his oxygen level drop below 30% after a very intense seizure.

He is the youngest of 4 children all under the age of 8 . His parents are Patrick and Alicia Baker, they are a devout Catholic Family. Their other 3 kids are with her family and they are obviously at their newborn baby’s side. Patrick and Alicia are not able to work right now and not sure when they will be able to.

Any money raised will go towards Medical Bills, Travel Expenses, Food, Lost Wages, and any other Misc Expenses that they incur during this very difficult time.
