On October 16th at 5:33pm my Sister Jocelyn and Brother Josh welcomed their baby girl Ms. Jewelz LaNeice Duvall. Born at only 24 weeks gestation. Weighing a whopping 1lb 2oz!

October 15th Jocelyn went in for her routine appointment to check on baby girl, when she was made aware that her blood pressure was high and she needed to go to the hospital for observation. Within 24 hours she was rushed into the OR to have an emergency C-Section. Jocelyn had developed severe preeclampsia. She was told that if she didn’t deliver asap it would result in her developing eclampsia, which could be detrimental for both her and her little baby.

As you could imagine emotions were at an all time high! BUT GOD! God saw that my sister and niece made it through. However, the journey has just begun. Jocelyn did have some complications after birth, which she is still recovering from. Baby girl is currently in the NICU and has a long journey ahead. Jewels is truly a strong little girl and she is fighting to come home to her family. Everyday she shows us all that she is a true testament of God’s grace, mercy, and miracle.

We are asking if you could please donate to their little family to help them in their time of need. We are uncertain when Jocelyn will be able to return to work. Our main focus is getting her back healthy so she can be there for her daughter. This unfortunate situation has left all of the financial strain on Josh. Our goal is to be able to give them some financial relief so that they can focus on being right by Jewelz’ side.
