Hello, my name is Caroline. My good friend recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy born August 24, 2023. He was diagnosed with SMA - Spinal Muscular Atrophy. It's a genetic condition that causes muscle weakness and atrophy (when muscles get smaller). They are in need of help for travel expenses as they are traveling an hour away back and forth for medical appointments and funds due to the time needed off of work to be there for their son Jamie.
