On Monday, February 19, 2024 I took my youngest son, Jameson, to Urgent care, who then sent us to the ER and I was told he had a double ear infection and was sent home with antibiotics. Two days later, on Wednesday, February 21, I noticed bruising on his head and torso and took him back to the ER. After his blood tests showed very low hemoglobin and platelets, he was transferred to Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. He was admitted and started receiving a blood transfusion and Doctor’s requested permission to do a bone marrow biopsy. On Friday, February 23, 2024, the day Jameson turned 13 months old, it was confirmed that he has B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The good news is there is a 90% survival rate but he will have to undergo chemotherapy over the next few years. Due to Jameson’s diagnoses, my husband needed to leave his job as a long haul independent truck driver. He is currently looking for local work but in the meantime, we need help with expenses such as fuel for travel to and from the hospital, rent and utilities as well as basic necessities like food. Please help us during this trying time. Any amount helps, no matter how small.

We have been so overwhelmed with all the love, support and prayers from all our friends and family while we learn to navigate our new normal. We have been an emotional mess the past few days but we are confident that Jameson will remain strong and fight this.
