Four days ago, a young fishing guide in Punta Allen, Mexico, became a father. Lizzandro and his family should be celebrating the arrival of their beautiful daughter, Iris Marahy Cime Rodriguez. Instead, they are facing an unimaginable challenge.

Baby Iris was born with an extruded artery, a rare condition requiring immediate and ongoing medical attention. In Mexico, independent fishing guides like Lizzandro don’t have health insurance, and the mounting costs of treatment and medication are overwhelming for the family.

Lizzandro is a hardworking young guide who has spent years on the water, sharing his love for fishing with visiting anglers. Now, he needs our help.
