Help Baby & Her Mom Recovery physically & financially

Hi, my name is Maryjane Hurtado. I’m 27 years old, a nurse, and the proud mom of three children: Ariel (9), Valentino (10 months), and my newest little fighter, Serenity Love.

When I found out I was pregnant with Serenity, I was actually expecting twins, but sadly I miscarried one. Serenity survived, and I held on to the hope of bringing her safely into this world. Then at just 28 weeks, I was rushed to the hospital with heavy bleeding and had to stay admitted. A few days later, her heart rate dropped, and I needed an emergency C-section with multiple blood transfusions to save both of us. Serenity was born weighing just under 2 pounds and was rushed to Stanford for specialized care.

While staying near her, I began experiencing severe pain that was making it beyond hard/ impossible that I could barely evenbreathe. It turned out that during my C-section at the other hospital, one of my intestines had been punctured. I had to undergo another emergency major surgery at Stanford. Now, both Serenity and I are on a long road to recovery together. I am currently unable to on my own. I have a nasal gastric tube in my nose and unable to eat regular textured food and have two tubes left and right hanging out of my lower body so I can get any excess drainage out of my stomach that needs to get taken out. although I am blessed to have all my children be alive and have my family. I am scared because funds are running out.

I am the only provider for my family, and being unable to work has made it very hard to cover rent, bills, and medical expenses. we are at risk of losing our home our car and everything else so, if you can help in any way shape or form that would be a blessing that would help us so much and be so much appreciated — whether through donations or baby gifts — would mean the world to us.
