We’re reaching out to ask for your support during an incredibly challenging time. Our grandson, Hayden Foley, was born just 6 days ago on March 25, 2025. What should have been a joyous moment for his young parents, Sydney and Brandon, quickly turned into the scariest moment of all of our lives. On Saturday, March 29, Hayden underwent emergency surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital to correct a life-threatening bowel obstruction caused by twisted intestines.

Sydney and Brandon are first-time parents navigating this overwhelming situation with strength and love. But as a young couple just starting out, they don’t have the financial resources to handle the mounting costs. Hayden is expected to remain in the hospital for at least two weeks, and we still don’t know the full extent of the medical bills. On top of that, Sydney and Brandon are staying in a hotel near the hospital costing $350 per night so they can be by Hayden’s side every moment.
