Help baby Haya fight blood cancer

My name is Qumar and I am the mother of four children. My youngest child, Haya, is only 11 months old and is fighting for her life. My concerns began when I noticed small red spots appearing on Haya’s skin. Initially, I suspected a rash or allergy, but my intuition told me it was more serious. I took her to our family doctor, who immediately recommended an emergency room visit. I was deeply concerned and terrified. At the hospital, the doctors began running numerous tests to determine the cause of her condition. However, it proved incredibly challenging to locate a suitable vein in her small frame. Despite repeated attempts, I stood helplessly, watching my baby cry in pain. The situation was unbearable. She lost a significant amount of blood, and the doctors had to administer blood and platelet transfusions to stabilize her.
After several tests, the doctors decided that Haya needed to have a bone marrow test to find out what was happening. We stayed in the hospital for weeks waiting for results, hoping everything would turn out okay. But when we finally went home, we got a call from the hospital asking us to come back — the first bone marrow test didn’t show clear results, and they needed to do a second one. That’s when everything became even harder. Around that time, Haya tested positive for COVID-19, which made her condition much worse. Because of that, we had to stay in isolation. Haya wasn’t allowed to leave her hospital room, and I had to stay with her the entire time. My husband stayed home to take care of our other three children. We were completely separated as a family — the kids missed their mom and baby sister so much, and I missed them deeply. Then came the day that shattered our hearts. After the second bone marrow test, the doctors finally had answers — they told us that Haya has blood cancer. Hearing those words broke me completely. She’s just 11 months old, so innocent and pure, yet she has to go through something no baby should ever experience. Now, Haya and I are living in the hospital for months while she receives treatment. Every day is a battle. Some days she smiles through her pain, and other days she’s too weak to move. But she is so strong — she truly is our little fighter. While I’m by her side, my husband is home taking care of our three other children. He doesn’t have a job, and it has been extremely hard to keep up with groceries, bills, and daily needs. It’s a constant struggle, both emotionally and financially. We are asking for your kind support during this heartbreaking time. The funds raised will go toward baby supplies, hospital leeds, food for our children, and basic living expenses while we focus on helping Haya heal.
Please keep Haya in your prayers.
She's fighting every single day to beat this cancer, and we believe that with your love, prayers, and support, she will come home healthy and smiling again - ready to play with her brothers and sisters. From the bottom of my heart, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who donates, shares, or takes the time to read Haya’s story. Every act of kindness means more than words can convey. Please help us by sharing this fundraiser with your family and friends; it truly makes a difference. Thank you all so much for your love, compassion, and prayers.

With love and gratitude,
Qumar & Family
