Harley Lowry was admitted to Children’s Mercy in Kansas City, MO Tuesday night September 2nd 2025 due to her AV Canal Defect, a congenital heart condition that makes her little heart work overtime. Because of this, she burns more calories than she can take in and has been struggling to gain weight.

To help her grow stronger, the doctors have placed a feeding tube, inserted a PICC line for nutrients, and put her on oxygen support to keep her levels stable. She is also on antibiotics to protect her from pneumonia while she fights off a common cold. Through it all, Harley has shown us just how strong and brave she is.

This has been an overwhelming and emotional journey for her family. Between hospital stays, medical needs, and time away from work, the financial strain has added even more stress to an already difficult time.
